Job Description Entry Level 2nd Shift Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assembler to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes. You will work Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:15 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment such as grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and rivet machines.
- Perform tasks like gapping, lugging, and stamping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Build sub-assemblies and perform other duties as assigned.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble products.
- Read and interpret blueprints and material lists to pull parts from storage bins.
- Identify parts by description, drawings, and simple measurements.
- Assemble repetitive, routine production switches.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
- Experience with mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform tasks according to specifications.
- Familiarity with equipment such as grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with wiring, soldering, and electronic assembly is a plus.
- Ability to perform inspection and work with microscopes.
- Experience in packaging and working in a cleanroom environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality standards.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean environment and be exposed to regular noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

This is a Contract position based out of Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
