Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Quincy, Massachusetts. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 academic year, offering a fulfilling opportunity to provide essential language and communication support to students across all grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with children in grades K-12 preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Job Details:
- Contract duration: August 2025 through June 2026
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, approximately 32-35 hours weekly
- Setting: Public school serving students from kindergarten to 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and related communication skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
