Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated case management support to high school students. The position is based in Jaffrey, NH, running from August 4, 2025, through May 31, 2026, as a contract role within a high school setting. This role offers an impactful chance to help students succeed while delivering specialized educational services aligned with each student's individualized education plan (IEP).

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education licensure required
  • Experience working in secondary education preferred
  • Strong case management skills to coordinate services, track progress, and communicate with families and school teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Location: Jaffrey, New Hampshire
Job Type: Contract (August 2025 - May 2026)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
Student Age Group: High School

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads of special education high school students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to provide necessary accommodations and support
  • Document student progress and participate in meetings related to special education services
  • Utilize bilingual therapy resources as needed to enhance communication and learning
  • Serve as an advocate for students academic, social, and emotional development
