Job Description

Job DescriptionSalary: $55,000 - $60,000

Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermonts designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.


Passionate about training, developmental disabilities, and aging services? This exciting position is responsible for coordinating training across UVS for staff and providers supporting individuals with I/DD, disability, and aging needs. In collaboration with Quality, HR, and the Administrative Director, the Training Coordinator will:


  • Assess training needs
  • Organize, develop, and lead/co-lead trainings
  • Ensure training materials are current and consistent
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training
  • Create training tracking mechanisms


A few of the essential skills needed for this valuable position are:


  • Strong organizational, public speaking, and written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills a must


Education Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree or higher in relevant field required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Human Services with at least 2 years in developmental disabilities services
  • Experience in aging services a plus
  • Experience in training required
