The position is based in Lowell, MA, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a consistent workweek that supports work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols and standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging to ensure safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring optimal imaging quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide compassionate care, addressing patient concerns and explaining procedures.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification and training in mammography.
- Proven experience in diagnostic mammography imaging.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate complex imaging equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in medical imaging.
