Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for a high school setting in Nashua, NH, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role begins on August 4, 2025, and concludes May 31, 2026, working 35 hours per week, five days a week. The primary responsibility will be managing case loads and delivering specialized instruction to support high school students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold valid New Hampshire Special Education licensure
  • Experience working with high school-aged students in special education settings
  • Strong organizational skills for case management duties
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored special education instruction in compliance with IEP goals
  • Manage case load and maintain detailed documentation for each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to meet evolving needs
  • Facilitate transition planning and promote student independence
