A Special Education Teacher position is available for a high school setting in Nashua, NH, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role begins on August 4, 2025, and concludes May 31, 2026, working 35 hours per week, five days a week. The primary responsibility will be managing case loads and delivering specialized instruction to support high school students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold valid New Hampshire Special Education licensure
- Experience working with high school-aged students in special education settings
- Strong organizational skills for case management duties
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored special education instruction in compliance with IEP goals
- Manage case load and maintain detailed documentation for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to meet evolving needs
