Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a Fall River, MA school. This contract position runs from February 23rd through June 16th and offers a 35-hour workweek across five days. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support services to students within a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive classroom experiences.
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for PreK-5 or PreK-8.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
