Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses exclusively on academic needs within a supportive charter school environment, offering a caseload centered on helping students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student academic requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and instructional methods
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Facilitate a positive learning environment conducive to student growth and success
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and school staff
Qualifications:
- Certified Special Education Teacher with experience in secondary education (grades 9-12)
- Strong knowledge of academic interventions and instructional strategies
- Ability to focus on academic support while managing moderate caseloads
- Effective communication and collaboration skills

Setting: Charter high school
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
