Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one medical support for a high school student with complex medical needs. This role requires hands-on nursing care throughout the school day and during transportation.

Schedule: Full-time

Setting: High school, in-person

Student Population: One severely disabled student
Student Care Responsibilities:

Provide G/J tube care and feeding
-
Perform suctioning as needed
-
Monitor and respond to seizure activity

Support mobility needs; student is wheelchair-bound

Utilize Hoyer lift for safe transfers as required
Transportation Details:

Bus transportation is included
-
Morning pickup between 7:007:30 AM at the students home in

Travel with the student to the school site

Remain onsite through the school day until departure, approximately 2:303:00 PM

Days may be long; flexibility and stamina are important
Requirements:

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Experience with complex pediatric or school-based nursing preferred

Comfort with medical equipment and mobility support
