At Catholic Charities New Hampshire, real estate is a powerful tool for social impact. As one of the region’s largest social services nonprofits, we develop and steward housing and community spaces that support affordable living, senior care, and mission-driven social ventures. We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Real Estate Services to help move these projects from vision to reality.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Real Estate Services, the Senior Manager leads day-to-day activities across the real estate development lifecycle, from site evaluation and feasibility through construction, financing close, and transition to operations. This role blends hands-on project management with strategic insight, helping advance a growing and diverse real estate portfolio while laying the groundwork for an internal real estate services team.
Responsibilities
· Manage development projects across affordable housing, senior living, mixed-use, and commercial real estate.
· Develop project schedules, track budgets, manage change orders, and monitor progress and compliance.
· Lead procurement processes, including RFPs and vendor selection.
· Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders; lead weekly project meetings.
· Conduct site inspections and oversee project closeouts and transitions to operations.
· Support financing applications and closing processes.
· Apply creative problem-solving to anticipate and resolve construction and development challenges.
· Document lessons learned and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Law, or a related field.
· 5–10 years of experience in real estate development, property/asset management, finance, compliance, or a related role.
· Must have previous tax credit, LIHTC, and affordable/workforce housing responsibilities and experience
· Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
· High standards of integrity and comfort working in a mission-driven environment.
· Experience with affordable housing or mission-aligned development a plus.
