Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an IMC Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling products based on material lists, blueprints, and assembly drawings. This role involves picking and packing supplies, performing repair operations, and conducting tests and inspections within a fast-paced environment. Expect to work across all departments, ensuring variety and engagement throughout your day.
Responsibilities
- Work off a material list to gather correct materials.
- Utilize blueprints and assembly drawings to accurately assemble products.
- Pick and pack supplies efficiently.
- Conduct repair operations as needed.
- Retrieve products from the conveyor belt and adjust linings.
- Assemble handles and pins and insert them on products.
- Insert foam into products, package them, and prepare for shipment.
- Rotate between sections for a varied work experience.
- Gather materials for assembly and set up off the conveyor.
- Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer.
- Ensure specifications are followed and perform product tests.
Essential Skills
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capability to work in a collaborative setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Trade school education.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in assembly operations.
- Blueprint reading skills.

Work Environment
Our work environment is clean, organized, and well-lit, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace. We offer flexible shift options: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm, M-F), 2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:00pm, M-F), and 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am, S-T).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.20/hr.
