Job Description
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Technologist to support our client’s laboratory operations in Morristown, VT. This is a 13-week contract offering a consistent schedule and a collaborative work environment within a respected community hospital.
Job Summary:
The Medical Technologist will perform diagnostic testing and analysis across all laboratory disciplines in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory standards. This role includes maintaining equipment, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with clinical staff to correlate lab results with patient conditions. Reception and phlebotomy responsibilities are also part of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments according to schedules and protocols.
- Follow quality control procedures and document results.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Conduct patient phlebotomy and handle specimens appropriately.
- Enter data into CPSI/Evident EMR system accurately and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates with less than 1 year of experience will be considered.
- Certifications: ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required at time of submission.
- Licensure: State license required upon acceptance.
- EMR Experience: CPSI/Evident preferred.

- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, day/evening rotation
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $43 - $48/hour
