Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery -
36 hr NIGHTS with every third weekend rotation.
7p-7a
2 years of LDRP experience strongly preferred
State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
BLS Certification
NRP Licenses, Registrations, Certifications
Preferred: BSN We are a 12 bed LDRP unit with a level 1B neonatal care center.
Scheduled Hours: 36 hrs Work
Shift: 7p-7a
Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active MA license required
Local candidates not accepted*
COVID Vaccines + Booster and 2024-2025 flu vaccine required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes.
Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patients' response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patients' response to teaching.
Communicates effectively with patients, families' peers and other members of the healthcare team
Includes patient, family, and caregivers in all aspects of care while ensuring that all explanations are understandable.
Cares for patients throughout the following phases of care: triage, labor, delivery, recovery, circulate and cesarean sections, postpartum and well newborn care.
Attends deliveries when appropriate. Implements stabilization process according to NRP guidelines.
Responds effectively and professionally in a crisis situation.
Provides resources to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs.
