Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A New Hampshire school district is seeking a Special Education Teacher specializing in high school-aged students for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity, located in Merrimack, NH, offers a fulfilling role focusing primarily on case management duties within a high school setting.

Start date is August 4, 2025, and the contract will run through May 31, 2026. The position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Hold valid New Hampshire Special Education licensure
  • Experience working with high school students in a special education capacity
  • Strong case management skills and an understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee special education caseloads for high school students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Coordinate with therapists and other educational staff to support student needs
  • Maintain detailed records and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Support students academic, social, and behavioral development
