Picture your day starting at a clean, organized bench inside a rapidly growing, registered ISO9001/AS9100 aerospace manufacturer. You review the operational traveler for the next high-tolerance part, pull the exact fixtures and tool holders required, and coordinate with the machine operator to ensure a flawless first piece. That’s the rhythm of this role—hands-on, detail-driven, and critical to production flow.

What You’ll Do

• Set up jobs and partner directly with machine operators to achieve successful first-piece approval and maintain in-process production quality.
• Own the tooling ecosystem: track and maintain inventories of cutting tools, fixtures, tool holders, and related hardware.
• Collaborate daily with the Tooling Coordinator and Floor Management to sequence work, solve problems, and keep throughput high.
• Interpret and apply operational travelers accurately to guide setups and verify requirements.
• Bring broad, practical knowledge of common machine tools and tooling systems to every setup.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in tooling setup within precision manufacturing (aerospace experience a plus).
• Strong familiarity with machine shop equipment and standard tooling.
• Exceptional organization and clear communication across shifts and teams.
• Ability to read and fully understand operational travelers/routers.
