We are seeking a dedicated production worker to assist with various labor-intensive tasks in our plant. Initially starting as a temporary position, the role involves shoveling debris, cleaning molds, moving materials, and performing general tasks. The job requires physical stamina and the ability to adhere to safety protocols while supporting the production process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with production by performing general labor tasks and providing support in various areas of the plant.
- Ensure that all produced and packaged products meet or exceed company quality standards.
- Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.
- Inspect finished products for physical defects and replace any defective items with acceptable products.
- Ensure accurate identification and tagging of packaged products, following established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, as well as other plant areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Participate in end-of-shift and end-of-day clean-up procedures.
- Adhere to all plant safety protocols and company policies.
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as required by the company.
Essential Skills
- Industrial background in manufacturing, landscaping, construction, or warehouse.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift 50 lbs consistently.
- Machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
- Forklift certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience is a big plus.
- Experience in paver manufacturing is desirable.

Work Environment
The work environment includes day shifts from 6am to 6pm, with the possibility to cover night shifts from 6pm to 6am, which offer a 10% shift differential. The setting is a loud, indoor-outdoor environment that can get hot in summer and cold in winter, with occasional dust and dirt. Cleaning machines can be dirty work, and the role involves working with concrete. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dusty and dirty environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
