Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Office including Word/Outlook/Excel required
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize a heavy and changing workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Duties:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys
- Draft basic legal correspondence, court forms, witness lists, exhibit lists, etc.
- File and serve legal papers in courts through physical and electronic filing systems
- Maintain calendar of appointments, hearings, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel via phone and e-mail
- Prepare case files and exhibit binders for attorneys to use at court hearings
- Assist with discovery and document management
