Core Responsibilities:

Utilizing a range of inspection techniques and equipment, the Inspector will ensure that all products meet company and customer standards. &nbsp;Essential Functions&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
<ul>
<li>Conduct quality inspections, including First Article, in-process, and final inspections on products.</li>
<li>Inspect parts using hand tools, measurement equipment, and advanced systems such as CMM and Optical Comparators.</li>
<li>Prepare inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance, and assist with FAI (First Article Inspection) reports and customer certification requirements.</li>
<li>Route parts to appropriate secondary processes and ensure timely delivery to the Shipping department.</li>
<li>Communicate project status and quality challenges with department leads and Project Managers.</li>
<li>Train and mentor employees on department operations, procedures, and quality standards.</li>
<li>Guide less experienced inspectors, providing solutions and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures.</li>
<li>Support production teams in adhering to ISO9001 processes.</li>
<li>Inspect incoming products from outside processes for compliance with specifications.</li>
<li>Participate in audits and compliance projects as assigned.</li>
<li>Follow applicable procedures and work instructions while offering ideas for improvement.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>
</ul>
Technical Competencies
<ul>
<li>Competences indicated for Inspector I.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of GD&amp;T per ASME Y14.5.</li>
<li>Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed manufacturing drawings.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of hand measurement tools and measurement equipment. </li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, using Mie Trak, SolidWorks, and CMM tools. </li>
</ul>

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

<li>Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs, moderately throughout the workday. </li>
