Role Overview:
Veranova is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead all warehousing, material handling, and logistics operations for our New England locations. The role is responsible for ensuring the compliant and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and finished products in accordance with GMP, GDP, EHS, and Veranova’s global quality standards.
This leadership position is essential to supporting site production, customer timelines, and global supply chain initiatives while maintaining full regulatory compliance and inventory accuracy.
Core Responsibilities:

<li>Oversee all inbound and outbound material movements, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, sampling, issuance, and dispatch of materials.</li>
<li>Manage raw material, packaging, and finished goods warehouses in full compliance with cGMP, GDP, and internal SOPs.</li>
<li>Maintain temperature-controlled and hazardous material storage per regulatory and safety requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and real-time inventory control using Veranova’s ERP system</li>
<li>Supervise and train warehouse staff on GMP documentation, EHS compliance, material handling, and internal processes.</li>
<li>Drive 5S and Lean practices for warehouse efficiency, space utilization, and safety.</li>
<li>Manage logistics operations, including domestic and international shipping, 3PL coordination, and transportation compliance (IATA, DOT, ADR, etc.).</li>
<li>Liaise with planning, production, and quality to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and release timelines.</li>
<li>Coordinate with global and regional logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.</li>
<li>Ensure all import/export documentation complies with trade compliance and customs regulations (e.g., HTS codes, COA, SDS, MSDS).</li>
<li>Ensure warehouse and logistics operations are audit-ready at all times (FDA, DEA, MHRA, customer audits).</li>
<li>Lead or support investigations related to deviations, OOS, inventory discrepancies, or logistics issues.</li>
<li>Drive CAPA implementation and process improvements to enhance accuracy, throughput, and safety.</li>
<li>Develop and monitor KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory accuracy, warehouse cycle times).</li>

Qualifications: 
Required
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics roles within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or CDMO environment.</li>
<li>Prior experience handling controlled substances, hazardous materials, and APIs preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and EHS standards.</li>
<li>Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management tools.</li>
<li>Familiarity with regulatory requirements for international shipments and chemical logistics.</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional communication.</li>
<li>Forklift certification, DOT/IATA certification, and Lean Six Sigma knowledge are assets.</li>
<li>Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements (EMA, DEA, etc.)</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills – verbal and written</li>

Stop Loss Management Partners (SLMP), a Beyond Risk Company, is looking for a Senior Medical Stop Loss Underwriter to join its growing team!

The Senior Medical Stop Loss Underwriter is a consultative underwriter, managing a book of new and renewal medical stop loss business on behalf of our carrier partners. They work to develop strong relationships with assigned producer and TPA partners, providing an industry-leading level of service. 
This role works closely with Sales &amp; Marketing on relationship development, with Risk Management throughout the underwriting process, and with the Policy Administration team to successfully close the loop on sold new business and renewal cases. This senior-level position is instrumental in helping the company to achieve their new business and renewal sales targets.

Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Reviews RFP submission to ensure accuracy of case setup and census and utilizes the provided underwriting system to enter plan benefits, requested terms, network discounting and expense information, and aggregate and specific claims experience to generate manual and experience-rated calculations for rates and factors.</li>
<li>Analyzes all provided case information to determine appropriate discounting within discretion authority to generate a stop loss proposal.</li>
<li>Analyzes competitive data and current rates and terms to determine competitiveness of pricing.</li>
<li>Documents the underwriting file completely and accurately with underwriting thought processes, producer and carrier communications, and any updated data received.</li>
<li>Submits initial proposals to producer partners within the requested time frame.</li>
<li>Consults with producers to offer creative insights and options that could aid in securing more competitive stop loss proposals, such as additional policy terms, cost containment strategies, or network considerations.</li>
<li>Conducts follow-up communication efforts on quoted business and a minimum of one annual check-in call to review the previous year’s partnership efforts and discuss long and short-term partnership goals.</li>
<li>Establishes a comprehensive strategy plan with Sales &amp; Marketing annually to manage each shared individual producer relationship.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with state regulations and carrier underwriting guidelines.</li>
<li>Obtains all appropriate disclosure data necessary to complete a medical underwriting review and addresses medical underwriting recommendations and concerns within the final issued proposal, as outlined in underwriting guidelines.</li>
<li>Engages with Management and Carrier partners as necessary to negotiate and develop firm and final proposals for targeted new business and renewal cases.</li>
<li>Utilizes creativity, industry knowledge, relationship development, and negotiation skills to close new business and renewal sales, helping the company achieve targeted sales and growth goals.</li>
<li>Upon sale of a new business or renewal stop loss case, obtains all information required to complete the stop loss application, and submits a complete file to the Policy Administration team to begin building the application packet.</li>
<li>Throughout the lifecycle of the policy, remains a resource and point of contact for producer and TPA partners, responding to inquiries within two business days, and utilizing the stop loss policy document to answer coverage questions.</li>
<li>Maintains an active Accident and Health producer license in their home state, completing required continuing education and renewals in a timely manner to remain compliant.</li>
<li>Stays abreast of industry news and trends and seeks out information for PPO networks and cost containment vendors that could impact overall plan costs for groups in underwriting.</li>
<li>Acts as a mentor for junior-level underwriters, providing on-the-job training and consultation to assist in their growth and development.</li>
<li>Maintains company standards as addressed in file quality audits.</li>
<li>Assists underwriting team members and other divisions as necessary, to help achieve company performance goals.</li>
<li>Monitors individual performance statistics compared to company performance goals to ensure targets are met, and takes appropriate action to address areas of difficulty, proactively seeking out Management assistance, as necessary.</li>
<li>Travels as needed for producer meetings and conferences, as assigned by Management.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of three years’ experience in medical stop loss underwriting</li>
<li>Experience with the Connexure (formerly David Young) ESL Office system required.</li>

Senior Medical Stop Loss Underwriter

General Description:
The Lumber Grader shall work to ensure actions reflect the company culture, work meets or exceeds company standards, values and working environment and actions reflect that as outlined by the Department Manager and will support the development and execution of the safety mission at Kennebec Lumber Company. This position ensures proper grading and inspection of all boards in compliance with NeLMA standards and KLC guidelines.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Understand all NeLMA grading rules per the handbook for each species of wood that is processed at KLC.</li>
<li>Ensure that you grade each board appropriately before it is sorted.</li>
<li>Place the appropriate width mark on boards as it passes the grading station, using a ruler for accuracy.</li>
<li>Inspect lumber as part of the grading process for planer defects, coloring, kiln defects and other grading discrepancies.</li>
<li>Ensure that the stacking line is properly sorting the boards per the grading mark.</li>
<li>Follow all change over and end of day procedures.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>

<li>Sharpening and performing routine maintenance on band saws, round saw, chipper knives. </li>
<li>Ability to sharpen many types of Band saws.</li>
<li>Perform all filing machine operations.</li>
<li>Ability to assist routine changes of saw blades at the machine center as needed.</li>
<li>Ability to assist with saw and knife changes during unscheduled times and at the end of shift.</li>
<li>Ensure all saws and guides are of acceptable quality and repair saws as necessary.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot saw performance from product finish.</li>
<li>Maintain all tools and equipment.</li>
<li>Tracking of saw quality and inventory for individual saw performance.</li>
