The Emergency Residence (ER) is a six-month residential program that supports homeless young adults working towards becoming housed, completing their education, gaining, and maintaining employment, building up their savings, and accessing appropriate physical and behavioral healthcare. The Welcome Center (WC) is a multi-functional program that supports homeless young adults (ages 18- 24) using a cooperative approach to service delivery coordinated through its Day program and Overnight Shelter program.
Bridge is seeking a qualified Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations and full scope of services offered by the ER and WC programs. Expectations of the role include availability to work 2p.m. to 10:00 p.m. or 3p.m. to 11:00 p.m., including (2 weekend shifts per month) weekend coverage
POSITION SUMMARY
The ER/ WC Manager reports to the Associate Director of the Emergency Residence and Welcome Center and is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functioning of the Emergency Residence (ER) and Welcome Center (WC) programs, including supervision of the milieu(s), the delivery of case management services, and maintaining accurate records and case files.
As the Program Manager, you will spend 75% (30 hours per week) of your daily working hours (or as needed) in the milieu, participating in and supervising the staff’s delivery of services to participants utilizing the programs.
The position requires a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The Program Manager will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including staffing, managing, and analyzing the internal workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with staff and residents, transitioning residents in and out of the programs, monitoring residents’ progress, and managing internal and external program relations. The Program Manager also serves as the primary contact for internal/external partners, counselors for clients when needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Position Summary: The Day Hab Direct Support Professional supports individuals intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to achieve the goals identified in the individual’s service plan while exemplifying service standards of excellence in all direct care and operational duties. 
 
 
Position Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (30 hr/week)
 Essential Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Must be able to drive and support individuals in the community</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li>
<li>Physical demands include frequent standing, pushing, pulling, walking, stooping, lifting and twisting. </li>
<li>Ability to perform physical restraint if necessary. </li>
<li>Ability to transfer, change, shower assist with toileting and all personal care needs of the individuals supported. Functional and situational reasoning to follow policy, complete administrative tasks, problem solve, exercise sound judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and crisis manage. </li>
<li>Cross functional communication skills, written and oral, which convey clear and concise information in a professional and respectful manner to individuals supported, family members/guardians, peers, government agencies, community partners and all employees throughout the organization. </li>
<li>Assist individuals with skill building and attainment of individual service plans/service plan goals </li>
</ul>
 Additional Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Implement Individual service plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities based on assessments, objectives and goals with case management. </li>
<li>Actively advocates for individuals served and demonstrates agency mission and values in all interpersonal and professional relations. </li>
<li>Attends mandatory trainings and meetings as assigned and required. Maintains all required certifications. </li>
<li>Conducts oneself professionally, maintaining respect, following regulations and agency policies and adhering to confidentiality requirements in all assigned duties </li>
<li>Timely and accurate coding for services into electronic medical records system for billing purposes. </li>
<li>Assist individual in resolving health and hygiene issues. </li>
<li>Perform safe lifts and transfers of individuals who use wheelchairs. </li>
<li>Other duties as assigned </li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Valid driver’s license and acceptable CORI is required at all times during employment with The Arc of Opportunity. </li>
<li>High School diploma or GED is required </li>
<li>A valid driver’s license </li>
<li>Acceptable driving record results </li>
<li>Acceptable background check results including CORI, SORI, OIG, and fingerprinting </li>
