Job Summary
The Resident Care Director (RCD) is responsible for the overall safe operation of the resident services department. The Resident Care Director plans, implements and evaluates the safe operation of the resident care department, staff, and residents of the community. The RCD will continuously evaluate the health functioning of all residents, and design and revises the care plan for each resident as necessary. This position ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies and procedures. 
 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
<ul>
<li>Identify and assess the clinical status of potential residents including complete nursing assessment and consultation with current PCP prior to admission.</li>
<li>Secure a statement from resident’s primary care physician indicating any physical or emotional limitations, and certify that the resident is appropriate for the community. </li>
<li>Supervise the medication management program and assisting the residents with self-administration of their medication.</li>
<li>Ensure the coordination of health related services for residents.</li>
<li>Develop a service plan for each resident according to current state regulatory and HallKeen Assisted Living Communities regulations.</li>
<li>Provide ongoing supervision of residents’ health related activities: complying with health care instructions provided by PCP or other health care professionals.</li>
<li>Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.</li>

We are a non-profit agency founded in 1982 with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access to find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.
 
In the Behavioral Day Program, our Direct Support Professionals support those who experience developmental disability and occasional behavioral challenges in their home and community. Each person regular daily routines and activities they enjoy in their community and they love to learn and see new things. The Direct Support Professionals provides support to the individuals by attending medical appointments, monitoring their health, safety, nutrition, grocery shopping, community activities, and community connections.
 
Qualifications:

Position Overview: The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Merrimack College invites applications for a full-time, non tenure track faculty position, open-ended term Assistant Professor of Practice position to begin in the spring of 2026 or fall of 2026. The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Merrimack College is a collegial department that examines the causes, patterns, and control of crime and criminal behavior in individuals, groups, organizations, cultures, and societies. We offer a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will teach the required courses, Introduction to Criminology and the Criminal Justice System, and undergraduate and graduate elective courses in forensic criminal investigations, policing, and ethics in criminal justice. Other areas of specialization are open, but we are especially interested in candidates whose teaching expertise includes domestic violence, victimology, and women in law enforcement.

Compensation:
The expected 9-month base salary range (paid over 12 months) for the Assistant Professor of Practice position is $78,000-$85,000. The actual pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate qualifications and prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations.
 Work Location This is an on-campus position as employees are essential in order to provide a fully on-campus, residential college experience for our students and the community.

Summary: The Direct Support Professional 1 will support and assist in Level 1 residential programs. Staff will help individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-8:30pm, Friday 4pm-9pm (23 hours per week)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence. </li>
<li>Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical, and financial needs.</li>
<li>Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.</li>
<li>Maintain required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.</li>
<li>Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable.</li>
<li>Maintain core training certifications including FA/CPR, PABC, and MAP. </li>

<li>Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders.</li>

Job DescriptionLeague School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS for our residential program in Walpole. Full-time and part-time staff base rate is $22.00/hour with additional compensation based on degree status and certification, or verifiable equivalent experience working with children with autism. Relief staff earn $21.50/hour. We have an immediate need to fill OVERNIGHT shifts (11:00 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.). Other shifts include: Saturdays and Sundays all shifts, weekday afternoons, evenings.
Position Requirements:

<li>Must have HS diploma and preferably a Bachelor’s degree; or be in an undergraduate course of study, preferably special education, education, psychology, human services or social work. </li>
<li>Safety Care, CPR and First Aid certifications (training will be provided if you do not have these currently).</li>
