Duties &amp; Responsibilities

Work Schedule 
This position starts May 4th and ends August 21st, 2026. From May 4th through June 9th, this position will be 30 hours per week. Camp staff training will be held from June 10th through June 18th, 2026, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Camp runs from June 22nd through August 14th, 2026. Hours for this position during the camp session are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday; 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursday; and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday. 
 
Compensation and Benefits This position’s pay range is $21.50 - $24.00 per hour; actual pay will be determined based on experience level, qualifications relative to position requirements, and location of the position. This is not a benefits eligible position. 
Shared staff housing may be available for rent. Housing is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Sea Tow Boston &amp; South Shore is seeking seasonal, full-time USCG-licensed operators for our assistance towboats in Boston Harbor, and the North and South Shores. Candidates must have a US Coast Guard license (with assistance towing endorsement), be customer service oriented, love spending time on the water, have exceptional boat handling abilities and be detail and safety oriented.
- Requires valid USCG Captain’s license with Commercial Assistance Towing endorsement, unless exempt by tonnage (200 and above). Near Coastal endorsement preferred, but Inland licenses may be considered.

- Excellent boat handling skills necessary, towing training will be provided.

The CIT Director is part of camp leadership, helping to ensuring the camp day runs smoothly to maximize fun while keeping everyone safe. They serve as the primary leader, mentor, and support system for our Counselors in Training, training and coaching them as they develop into future Camp Counselors. The CIT Director provides ongoing guidance to CITs, upholds camp policies and traditions, and models excellence in leadership. 
JCC Greater Boston offers free bus service for staff from Cambridge, Brookline, Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Wayland, Framingham, Natick, Needham, Newton and Wellesley during the summer season.

Position Overview:&nbsp; The&nbsp;Industrial Sports Medicine Professional&nbsp;is responsible for providing onsite care to the working athletes we serve by being the expert in job function and technical task analysis, maintaining a thorough understanding of functional body movements, discomforts, and following established OSHA First Aid standards and guidelines.

Fitness Coach:
As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 members per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting, and produce a high-energy and positive experience for our members. An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the member’s experience and results.
Fitness Coaches are leaders of the Orangetheory workouts. This requires them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. In the weight room, coaches must demonstrate all exercises for members which can involve but is not limited to: Bosu balls, medicine balls, dumbbells, TRX, or other fitness equipment.
