 Requirements A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following: (1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022; (2) A minimum of an associate’s degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; (3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school; (4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; (5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or (6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and: a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and

The Order Puller/Warehouse worker responsible for picking materials to fill orders, and putting away credits to return materials into stock. This individual works with others to check inventory levels to confirm low and out items, to insure proper storage and handling of materials, and to provide a safe and efficient workplace. Specific duties include: • Knowing the locations of inventory items and being able to properly identify stock and non-stock items according to delivery slip skus and descriptions. • Using order slips to pull correct materials and quantities for delivery. • Loading trucks according to the order in which deliveries will be made. • Ensure that individual loads are built and banded or fastened safely and securely, and can be delivered according to DOT regulations. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to low and out items as encountered. • Replenishing full units of material to the proper rack as old units are pulled through. • Checking quality of materials pulled for delivery to insure only acceptable materials are shipped. • Culling unacceptable materials from stock inventory area to assist co-workers in maintaining proper quality levels. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to culled and unacceptable materials. • Assisting the Dispatcher as required to provide information on orders, deliveries, or inventory; assisting with yard and warehouse maintenance and cleanliness; and unloading trucks, pulling loads, or making deliveries; or wherever else assistance may be required.

Tasks include providing assistance to customers in pulling their orders, inspecting merchandise and making returns, pulling orders from stock, loading orders onto delivery trucks and unloading stock as it comes in, and maintaining work area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Greets customers when they enter the yard </li>
<li>Loads and safely handles customer orders </li>
<li>Maintains knowledge of proper identification of inventory items </li>
<li>Locates and pulls correct items by type, style and quantity as directed by supervisor to fill order completely, quickly and accurately. </li>
<li>Assists supervisor, other employees and other work areas as needed. </li>
<li>Operates forklift to load and unload trucks as directed by supervisor* </li>
<li>Assists truck drivers in loading merchandise and materials ensuring it is safely and properly handled to prevent damage </li>
<li>Assists truck drivers in unloading of and returning of credit items and ensures items are returned to proper storage location </li>
<li>Unloads incoming freight and checks count to see if it is correct </li>
<li>Completes necessary reports, i.e., checks orders filled, checks material received and forklift inspection sheets </li>
<li>Interacts in a positive, pleasant and prompt manner with customers in person and on the telephone </li>
<li>Provides the highest level possible of service to all customers with the main objective of serving our retail customers </li>
<li>Provides customers with information on additional items related to purchases made </li>
<li>Operates cash register, makes change, and issues receipts to customers </li>
<li>Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products sold, product usage, product prices and new products on the market </li>
