Job Summary:
As Corporate Counsel for Percona, you will play a critical role in providing legal guidance and strategic advice to our organization. Contract Review and Negotiation:

Support our internal procurement process by reviewing agreements for vendors, sales partners, events employment, real estate and other contracts related to other company initiatives

Corporate compliance and privacy functions:

Act as Privacy Officer of the company, overseeing privacy requirements and processes

Manage the company’s privacy and compliance practices, including overseeing external audits and customer compliance requirements

Corporate Governance:

Act as Assistant Security, including documentation for the Board of Directors and legal entity creation and dissolution

Manage Percona’s IP portfolio, including counselling on trademarks, branding, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and open-source licenses

Liaise with external counsel and coordinate projects between external counsel and Percona stakeholders
</li>
<li>
Partner with the HR function on employment agreements and advises on hiring practices and general labor &amp; employment compliance

Stay up to date with global regulatory and legal requirements that affect the company’s products, services, and operations
</li>
</ul>
What You Have Done:
<ul>

A law degree from an ABA-accredited university
</li>
<li>
8-10+ years of experience practicing law in a corporate setting, with a mix of in-house and law firm experience
</li>
<li>
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
</li>
<li>
Experience negotiating legal, commercial, and financial agreements with international customers, vendors, and partners
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of international personal data and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, and common compliance standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.

<li>
Experience with open-source software and FOSS license models
</li>
<li>
Experience in technology, SaaS, and commercial transactions
</li>
<li>
Skilled at assessing real-world risk and negotiating in fast-paced situations

ELG Solutions is seeking a skilled and highly motivated personnel to join the USAO- District of Vermont as Legal Assistants and help the agency in preparing and processing complex legal documents, reviewing and assembling materials, and drafting documents with limited guidance. Key tasks include developing document indices, composing non-legal letters, managing files and reference searches, and performing docketing and calendar management. Duties

<li>Examines, prepares, and processes a variety of technical legal documents which are characteristically voluminous and complex in format.Duties</li>

<li>Obtains needed information from appropriate sources and submits drafted legal documents to the appropriate AUSA.</li>
<li>With limited instructions from the AUSA, prepares responsive documents.</li>
<li>Completes variable aspects of recurring legal documents in conformance with the rules governing their style and format.</li>
<li>Develops tables of contents and indices to briefs in accordance with established format. Lists cited cases, opinions, and miscellaneous references in briefs.</li>
<li>Composes original letters that do not require legal interpretations but do require a good working knowledge of legal procedures and specialized terminology, e.g., transmittal of pleadings, requests for extensions of time in certain cases, advising of actions taken or developments in cases referred by other federal departments and agencies, and notices to attorneys representing defendants.</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains a variety of files.</li>
<li>Searches legal reference files for information needed by AUSAs.</li>

The firm is seeking a skilled and strategic attorney with 6+ years of experience advising employers on traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and union avoidance strategies.
The ideal candidate will have:
