Job Summary: Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts using MIG and/or TIG process. The work is repetitive in nature and requires a strong sense of details. Responsibility to perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor may be required. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Set up welding machines based on the job at hand. </li>
<li>Read &amp; interpret blueprints and or drawings to determine the specific welding required </li>
<li>MIG or TIG weld Steel, Aluminum or stainless steel </li>
<li>Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards </li>
<li>Must wear PPE to include but not limited to welding helmet and welding gloves </li>
<li>Must be able to use precision measuring tool to inspect grooves and angles </li>
<li>Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment. </li>

<li>Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task </li>

Job Opportunity: 
BHSI has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Manager to join our Excess &amp; Surplus Lines Small Commercial team. This new position will be based in Atlanta, Boston, New York or Chicago and is ideal for an experienced Small Commercial Underwriter with a minimum of 8 years of property and casualty lines underwriting experience, preferably in a surplus lines environment. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting General Liability and Property business and will play a key role in growing the new E&amp;S Small Commercial product. The candidate will also be involved with management in the building of a small commercial platform and product offering. 
At BHSI, we operate in a highly collaborative environment and value in-person connectivity, so this role is at least four days in the office per week.
Depending on relevant skills and experience, we are open to hiring this individual at either the Assistant Vice President (AVP) or Vice President (VP) level.
 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>Support the build-out and profitable growth of the Excess &amp; Surplus Lines Small Commercial book of business.</li>
<li>Actively manage the evaluation, selection, and pricing of small commercial accounts.</li>

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000, along with annual bonus eligibility. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
