Pathways Vermont Peer Respite Resident Support Staff - Per Diem 
The Company: Pathways Vermont is a dynamic nonprofit agency committed to permanently ending homelessness and offering innovative mental health alternatives throughout Vermont.

The Peer Respite House is a new project that offers guests a short-term retreat space in a home-like setting when they are experiencing mental health distress, wish to avoid hospitalization, or have a respite following a hospitalization prior to their return home. The peer-respite program is led and staffed by individuals who have experienced mental health challenges, dark periods or difficult life disruptions.
 
The Role: The Peer Respite Staff is a member of a support team that provides excellent, consistent, and equitable peer mental health services. This position supports house visitors through Intentional Peer Support and assists with daily house operations. 
 
As a peer respite, we require that applicants for peer support positions identify as having personal experience with life-interrupting emotional/mental health distress and other significant life challenges, and are aware that sharing some of that experience with others is a part of their job.
 
Location: In Person (Williston, VT)
Schedule: Per Diem, as needed (nights and weekends available)
Supervised by: Peer Respite House Manager or Shift Lead

Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (now known as Franklin Cummings Tech) is a nationally accredited non-profit, technical college serving Eastern Massachusetts and beyond. Position Summary: 
 
Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology is looking to hire an electrician to teach postsecondary students the electrical trade. If you like working with students, have 5-years’ experience working in the field, possess journeyman and master licenses, and have a high school diploma or GED then we want to talk with you about this amazing opportunity. We will provide support as you transition into an exciting and rewarding career as an electrical adjunct lecturer. 
 
Courses such as Circuit Theory, Electrical Design &amp; Layout, National &amp; Massachusetts Electrical Code, Electrical Machinery, and Low Voltage Systems &amp; Controls provide the technical focus for an associate degree program, but also serve as the educational hours that are required for eligibility to sit for the Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician licensing exam.
The Massachusetts Board of State of Examiners of Electricians mandates that this position be filled by an individual who holds either a Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Massachusetts. Other candidates need not apply. A master’s license and some teaching experiences are preferred.
Through teaching, participation in institutional initiatives, and pursuing professional development, the faculty member contributes to the mission, outcomes, and strategic plan of the department and the College. Key Responsibilities of Part-Time Faculty:

<li>Teach 10 hours per week; M/W or T/Th, days or evenings.</li>
<li>Availability to meet with students when needed.</li>
<li>Use of course texts, outlines, and other curriculum materials in accordance with college and department policies. Any deviations from the course syllabus must be approved by the department chair.</li>
<li>Respond to chair and administrative requests in a timely manner and complete all responsibilities effectively; prompt in keeping appointments, attending meetings (when possible), starting classes on time.</li>
<li>Respond to students in a timely manner</li>
<li>Evaluate student achievement and provide timely feedback while maintaining accurate student records in the CANVAS LMS. Provide adequate support to students and maintain a respectful, professional rapport.</li>
<li>Participation in communications with the college and department. This includes utilizing the college Dropout Detective warning system to alert advisors when students falter.</li>
<li>Demonstrate effective teaching including preparation, meeting course goals, organization and presentation of material, student involvement, and classroom management.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other college departments (academic, student affairs, enrollment, and development) for the mutual benefit of all.</li>

The enrollment specialist is responsible for researching, coordinating and enrolling families in Catholic Charities centers and family childcare homes throughout the greater Boston and North Shore area. The Enrollment Specialist provides parents with program information to support the best early care and education decisions for their children and will communicate with parents of young children, program directors and other agencies within the community in a way that reflects Catholic Charities commitment to excellence and professionalism. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
