As a Middle School Support Services Compliance Manager. . .
 
This role is designed to facilitate the processes related to special education at Boston Prep. The MS Support Services Compliance Manager collaborates to advise the special education team to ensure that the needs of all students are being met and that services are aligned and in compliance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
 
This is a hybrid role and employees must be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
 
Responsibilities of the role include:
 
Evaluation and Individualized Education Program (IEP) Process Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Coordinate and execute all aspects of the new or triennial evaluation process according to state and federal deadlines;</li>
<li>Manage compliance paperwork across grade levels (e.g. IEPs, Input Forms, IEP Progress Reports, evaluation waivers, extended evaluations, etc.) to ensure deadlines are met and information is accurately recorded;</li>
<li>Develop and oversee the process for reviewing evaluations prior to the team meeting to ensure key stakeholders are able to understand eligibility questions, disability manifestations, appropriate goals, and support recommendations</li>

Family Relations

<li>Provide parents the opportunity to evaluate team meetings, allowing them to vocalize whether or not they felt appropriately involved in all team decisions;</li>
<li>Gather feedback from families of special education students with end-of-year evaluation surveys; and</li>
<li>Send home evaluation summaries at least three days prior to evaluation team meetings for family to review.</li>

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

<li>Hires, supervises, and directs daily activities of campus safety and security staff and is responsible for overall supervision. Performs administrative duties associated with maintaining a safe work environment, training employees, communicating job expectations, monitoring, and appraising job performance, and managing employee time and attendance in accordance with CCSNH and college policies and procedures, the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement, and state and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Learns, utilizes, manages, and trains all campus safety staff in the utilization of campus safety related software.</li>

Provide 1:1 peer support to mentees, including individuals who are new to navigating their disability. Work closely with the supervisor and Peer Support staff to support the recruitment, training, matches, and develop the best practices that promote a positive and productive relationship with the mentee and mentors.
Responsibilities

<li>Provide peer support by phone and in person to consumers as requested either by internal or external referral sources.</li>
